A window into my mind

Wondering what I'm thinking? Well, here's an excerpt from my journal:

"I"m so glad I came to Alaska. It's going to be a great summer! Travelling for me is an experience of God's goodness. I get to see amazing beauty in the landscapes which fill me with a sense of awe of his power, vastness, design, care, & yes, goodness, because I look around & see it is "good." I also get to meet wonderful people on the road & in new unfamiliar places who bless me with random acts of kindness.

Probably the best kept secret of my many travelling escapades is the goodness I experience from those I left behind. I am all at once showered with expressions of love, care, & friendships, while my absence from these same people causes me to realize & value the extent of their goodness in my life."'

Sorry for the picture drought. I'm in Fairbanks & just getting into the swing of things & getting used to 10 hour days. Hang on tight though, because I've got the material I simply need the internet access.
