Oh beautiful for spacious skies...

My mom & I have been on the road for 9 days! Believe it or not there has not been one single disowning this whole time. Let's see... we've camped every night, not even a single hostel visit or KOA Kabin (way to go, Mom!). We've been through customs 4 times. Logged 3750 so far (and have more to go). Only burnt smelled burning rubber from "Supersube," a portion of 2 days. (The helpful folks at Canadian Tire said he'd recover). We've seen all varieties of wildlife (topic for future blog)...no moose yet. Tomorrow we'll visit where my summer home will be Fairbanks, AK.

Were you aware that are beautiful spacious skies places other than the US? The song never mentioned that. Go figure. I just made it to the "mainland" of AK today after spending essentially a week in that lovely state to the north. What's that you say? It's another country? Hmmm. Oh, Canada, right. It's good to be back it had been nearly a year. Far to long, I dare say.
