May in WI

I was driving through the Wisconsin country-side a week or so ago and was surprised to come across this creature. It made my week. Any guesses for what this animal is?

Anyone?? Check your Dr. Suess pics perhaps...

Getting warmer??

How about now???

Yes, there it stood in the middle of a pasture, just waiting for a visitor such as myself to come and say 'hello.' He wasted no time in coming right up the fence where I stood; I think hoping for a treat, of which, I had none. Meeting this fellow was quite the education in what a camel looks like head-on...nothing like I would have dreamed...ever! John was there, he can attest to it all...

I've also been experimenting lately with motion; here are some of the results.

Got Music?

I recently had the opportunity to sit in on some live recordings/performances of a couple very talented musical artists that John recorded with the ongoing project Into the Hill. If you like quality, new, fresh music and even better -- free music, then check out this site. Be sure to go to the 'sessions' tab to hear and download all the great tunes... Into the Hill - The Sessions

I brought my camera along...here are some highlights...

First, Andy Zipf...and his powerful multimedia event...

And then, Cory Hart intimate in the living room...

St. Patty's Day Posting

So I thought that I could publish 1 pic each day, but I think that's a bit too ambitious, so maybe post once a week with 7 pics??? Let me know what you think of the pictures...

First mounted pic from my B&W film class...it's two portraits in one, but with the resolution of this web version you'll have to imagine me in the glasses...of course, you can see my honey nice and clearly....

New Pics with a new 50mm lens...

Now if this is not cute, I don't know what is...
